About URCity
Data-driven city comparison and relocation guides. We combine official government data with interactive tools to help you make informed decisions about where to live.
Our Mission
Moving to a new city is one of the biggest decisions you'll make. We believe everyone deserves access to clear, accurate, data-driven information to make that decision confidently.
Official Data Only
We use only verified, official sources: US Census Bureau, Bureau of Labor Statistics, Zillow Research, NOAA, FCC, and Tax Foundation. No guesswork, no crowdsourced estimates.
C2ER Methodology
Our cost of living indices follow the Council for Community and Economic Research (C2ER) standard. Custom scores combine multiple data points into easy-to-understand metrics.
Free & Independent
URCity is free to use. We may earn commissions through affiliate links at no extra cost to you. This helps us keep the data fresh and the site running without paywalls.
